    2022 SmileCon Host

    Dr. Christina Rosenthal served as host for the 2022 American Dental Association's SmileCon conference, a meeting that attracts dentists from across the United States and around the world. The event took place October 13-15, 2022 in Houston, TX and was a joint meeting with the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. “It was such an honor to represent my colleagues in the profession of dentistry on the big stage.” In her role, she served as host for the opening and closing sessions and interviewed Dr. Brené Brown. Brené is the author of six #1 New York Times best sellers, the host of two award-winning Spotify podcasts, Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead, and her TED talk on the Power of Vulnerability is one of the top five most-viewed TED talks in the world with over 50 million views.

    You Can Become a Doctor Too

    A product of the inner-city, Dr. Christina Rosenthal defied all odds and ultimately became a dentist. In addition to being a wife, mommy of three, and general dentist, she makes time to encourage young people to pursue careers in healthcare through her Determined to be a Doctor Someday (D.D.S.) initiatives.

    Atlantic Fellows Documentary

    Dr. Rosenthal is an Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity, US + Global (based at the Fitzhugh Mullan Workforce Institute at George Washington University), and her work with the Determined to be a Doctor Someday (D.D.S.) initiative was highlighted in this documentary. D.D.S. is a pipeline program created to assist young people in their pursuits to careers in healthcare.

    I want to book Dr. Rosenthal. Where do I start?

    Send an e-mail to rosenthalspeaks@gmail.com with your request. You will be sent a survey link to gather more information about logisitics and your needs for the event. From the information submitted, a proposal with fees and requests will be provided within 72 hours.

    How much does it cost for Dr. Rosenthal to speak?

    Honorariums can vary based on your organization's needs and travel considerations. You will receive a customized fee schedule after completing the survey link sent after you express interest.

    When should I book?

    Due to scheduling, it is often best to book when the event information has been finalized or usually three to six months in advance. In some cases, bookings can be up to a year in advance.

    In what capacity is Dr. Rosenthal willing to serve?

    Dr. Rosenthal's experience is very broad and includes, but is not limited to, keynote and commencement addresses, panel discussions for various industries, leading and moderating discussions, and group talks. In addition, video conference is available if travel cannot be considered.

    Is Dr. Rosenthal willing to travel internationally?

    Dr. Rosenthal is willing to travel internationally, and similarly to domestic engagements, travel and accommodations will also be covered by the requesting entity in addition to the speaking honorarium.

    Can I just reach out to Dr. Rosenthal directly with a request?

    Although Dr. Rosenthal is highly engaged on social media platforms and is typically accessible, all speaking requests will be handled exclusively through e-mail using the process described above to make sure no detail is neglected. Follow-up phone calls may be required for any details requiring clarity.
